All along the Gulf Coast, NGO's are massing for the mighty "clean-up": all that money is swamping the coffers of non-profit aid organizations of every stripe. Come on down! There's plenty of money! The Obama administration insisted - as the oil rig slowly sank in the Gulf, that there was no chance of a serious leak. And even as the leak was becoming serious, BP said there really wasn't one and anyway, it wasn't its leak that was leaking. As the rush to deny the horrific reality of the situation abated, the mad scramble to pay for clean-up was already starting. Another 'Katrina'? Yes and no. No doubt this time around that human folly and galloping consuption are the causes. But on the 'Katrinometer', this is infinitely worse, both short-term and long-term.
There goes another one: An oil drilling rig on its way to a scrap yard has overturned in Louisiana. Even though and even as the Obama administration says there will be no new drilling until answers on the Big One are answered, yet another mishap has hit the of-shore oil industry. No injuries have been reported. The overturned rig is unrelated to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that threatens the coast's fragile ecosystem. This latest rig can carry about 20 thousand gallons of diesel fuel, but no fuel leaks have been found.

Biomass Incinerators
THANK YOU so very much for getting information about the attrocities of these biomass incinerators out to the public. As a former resident of Shelton, I understand the difficulties of the information stream in the town. It is of the utmost importance that we help support the small town with our voices and oppinions to help STOP the implementation of these greenwashed ideas!
