Host Crystal Leighty interviews Eric Mwarabu, an intern from Tanzania who is working to increase awareness of Walk for Water on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Drawing attention to the plight of millions of people whose access to safe drinking water is severely limited, Walk for Water will raise funds to benefit Water For All, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean water to families in sub-Saharan Africa. The goal is to raise $14,000 needed to build a water pump in Tanzania. The Tanzanian Ambassador to the U.S, Earl BlumenauerOregon’s U.S. Representative from the 3rd District, Mayor Sam Adams of Portland, plus other will be the keynote speaker at the event.
