defunkt Theatre and BaseRoots Theatre

Dmae Roberts talks with Grace Carter and Matthew Kern (featured left) of defunkt theatre about "4.48 Psychosis" by Sarah Kane. The play is described as a journey into the human mind at the darkest hour.  The  play uses of multimedia projectsions, sound and dreamlike performances. This show runs through April 10th at the Back Door Theatre behind Common Grounds Coffee.

Also featured, Bobby Bermea tells us about two projects he's working on for Baseroots Theatre, a company he founded devoted to African American works.  "In Darfur"a reading at Artists Repertory Theatre on March 15th at 7pm at Artists Repertory Theatre  and "Radio Golf" by August Wilson April 3-25th.
