President Obama has promoted ‘alternative energy’ as a key part of his agenda.
To achieve that goal, some legislators in the US Congress have proposed a ‘Clean Energy Bank’ that would provide low-interest loans for new alternative energy projects.
But anti-nuclear groups have discovered a little-publicized provision in the bill that would allow unlimited loans for nuclear power plant construction.
