Comics storyteller Carol Lay spins colorful yarns in this 2007 interview

Carol Lay has been creating comics — both alternative and mainstream — since the 1980’s.  She’s a writer, illustrator, painter, and animator whose work ranges from surrealist canvases to Wonder Woman story arcs.  Her weekly comic Story Minute ran in newspapers for twenty years and helped blaze a trail for a new generation of women in the digital comics era.

In 2007, Carol visited Portland for the Stumptown Comics Fest, and took time out of her busy schedule to share her formidable storytelling skills with Words and Pictures co-host Bill Dodge.

This episode first aired on KBOO on 22 October 2007.
