Portland Police Abuse

The recent arrest of a Portland police officer for making hundreds of harassing phone calls to women has raised some disturbing question about police conduct in the city.
Dan Handelman, with Portland Copwatch, believes that many abuses by police continue to go unaddressed:   
A recent internal report on racial profiling by Portland police found that the Department is taking sufficient measures to address the problem, but many in the community feel that racial profiling and abuse by the police continue to be an issue in Portland.
