The theme for March is "Luck," and features guest Kelly Terwilliger, a poet and storyteller from Eugene, Oregon. She is the author of a collection of poems, Riddle, Fish Hook, Thorn, Key, a chapbook, A Glimpse of Oranges, and two published picture books. She has an uneasy regard for luck, which is, by definition chancy, changing. As a small child Kelly was rolled by a sneaker wave on the Oregon Coast where she grew up: bad luck. Her father looked back, and saw, and plucked her out of the waves before she washed away: good luck. Ever since she’s greeted coastal storms with caution and exultation--a stance, perhaps, in which to live open to the either-way of luck.
