Episode #14 #trippp Sara Rudolph Portland Assembly
With Guest Sara Rudolph from Portland Assembly

This podcast episode features guest Sara Rudolph.

Sara is a community volunteer and member of Portland Assembly, which she describes as "a network trying to connect like-minded people together."

Sara talks about some of the collaborations and outreach that she and Portland Assembly are involved in, such  as the houseless-led "Stop The Sweeps" campaign, data research with WRAP (Western Regional Advocacy Project), and the cost burden on individual volunteers who help those in need.

We also discuss the effects on the community from the closure of the Sunnyside shelter, the removal of a decades-long food and outreach program by a Church's new congregation, business improvement districts, and the rise of terminology such as "low-barrier" in order to classify workers and job-positions intended for those who are unhoused.

Sara Rudolph can be reached through social media and email.
