Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell, Ms. Deborah Hall for the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists segment of Labor Radio with our guest Wade Rogerson II, the Media/Event Volunteer Coordinator for Radio Cab. He is currently one of two point persons planning the 2019 Radio Cab Turkey Project. The Turkey Project is a hunger relief program that began in 1996, and provides a complete Christmas dinner to qualifying Portland area families. If you are a family in need or know of someone who is please fill out the request form located on this website: https://radiocabfoundation.org/dinner-request-form/. Qualifying families can travel to the 1613 NW Kearney Radio Cab station on December 21, 2019 to pick up a Christmas dinner food box. Radio Cab Drivers also volunteer their time to deliver boxes to seniors and to those without transportation starting the week of December 16. If you are inclined to make a donation please visit the donation page: https://radiocabfoundation.org/donate/. The mission of the Turkey Project is “helping families in need”. The intent of the program is to spread cheer and good will over a hot meal during the holiday season. Joins us in our conversation, with Wade Rogerson II about the past successes of the Turkey Project and other Radio Cab Foundation programs.
