A Different Nature

In 1975, KBOO founding member Ernest Hood released a unique record linking his field recordings made in Portland, OR with his music. Most copies went to friends and family and some made it out into the world to become an interesting rarity, appreciated by many for its personal approach and the sort of proto-ambient quality it exhibits. Anyways, it is being reissued as we speak on Freedom To Spend so I thought I'd play my OG copy of "Neighborhoods" for you tonight in celebration on this week's A Different Nature.
