Tonight we present a steam punk, cross over, pastiche combining the works of Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft. "20,000 Years Under The Sea" by Kevin J. Anderson, finds Captain Nemo, and the crew of his now crippled submarine boat The Nautilus, seeking shelter to make repairs in the freezing southern waters near to the Antarctic. They come across a remote, uncharted island, where they discover the ruins of an ancient and alien looking city. Stranger still are the weird structures found deep in the nearby waters of the ancient harbor. Prominent among the buildings is a strange gigantic temple which Captain Nemo begins to realize is actually a prison for a slumbering ancient monster.
