Navigating through Climate Disruption

Please join me for a conversation with Dahr Jamail, as we talk about the reality of climate change. We'll talk about the rapidity of changes, and how climate models and predictions have consistently fallen short of what is actually happening. Moreover, we'll talk about what we must do to uphold our moral obligations to the planet and to each other.

Dahr's latest book is The End of Ice: Bearing Witness and Finding Meaning in the Path of Climate Disruption.  He'll be speaking at Powell's City of Books on Monday, January 21st, at 7:30 pm.

Dahr Jamail is a Truthout staff reporter.  He is the author of Beyond the Green Zone: Dispatches from an Unembedded Journalist in Occupied Iraq. Jamail has reported from the Middle East over the last ten years, and he has won the Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism. He lives in Washington State.
