We'll be joined by Hava and Dani Dennenberg, co-authors of  Mirrors & Closets: The Complex Journey of LGBTQ Twins & Their Siblings. The Dennenbergs will host a book launch party at the Q Center on January 31st.

Hava writes:

"3,025. That was the number of miles between us when we discovered with wild synchronicity that we’d each developed feelings for women. This had also been the longest distance we’d ever been apart from one another. And it was the first time that we had experienced cryptophasia, the only quintessential twin phenomena we would ever share in our adulthood....

"After more than five years of discussion, we plunged into unchartered waters and decided to write our first book. The vision was clear: share the stories of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning or Queer (LGBTQ) identified identical and fraternal twins (or triplets) and their other halves."

We'll also do a short reading from Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore's new novel Sketchtasy. Mattilda will be appearing at Powell's on February 11th.
