Affordable Diabetes Prevention Program

More than 84 million Americans have diabetes— one in every three adults. Nine out of 10 may not even realize that they can develop type 2 diabetes within the next five years. Diabetes is a life-threatening disease—but it’s entirely preventable.

Naturopathic physicians Dr. WendyLeigh White and Dr. Regina Dehen, from National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), join Healthwatch to discuss NUNM’s Diabetes Prevention Program—a unique and affordable 12-month coaching program for those who are prediabetic and want support in creating healthier lives.

The National University of Natural Medicine's (NUNM) Diabetes Prevention Program, recognized by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is a holistic program designed specifically to help participants make incremental changes in their lifestyles by getting personalized help with dietary choices, movement and stress management from a physician. The next cohort of NUNM’s Diabetes Prevention Program will begin Feb. 12, 2019.
