Nationwide Prison Strike 2018: Updates from IWOC

Adam Carpinelli interviews Clayton Dewey with the Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (IWOC).  Discussion will focus on the recent happenings with the recent National Prisoner Strike that started in August 2018. Prison rebels across the nation declared a nationwide strike in response to the Prisoner insurrection at Lee Correctional Institution, a maximum security prison in South Carolina. Seven comrades lost their lives when prison officials turned their backs on a riot they provoked. We are demanding humane living conditions, access to rehabilitation, sentencing reform and the end of modern day slavery.
