  • In a 5-4 decision, the United States Supreme Court ruled against the state of California in NIFLA v. Becerra, a case pitting crisis pregnancy centers run by anti-abortion activists against a California law requiring medical license disclosures and information on where to obtain free abortions in the state. Frann Michel looks at this decision as “It reflects longstanding organizing by the patriarchal religious right, and it is also racist and a gift to capital power.”
  • From the June 2018 Portland Democratic Socialists of America Socialism Day School, Katie Behrendt talks about Climate Change, System Change and the need for a planned Economy.
