More Criminal Stories and Motifs in Folk Songs

In this follow-up program to "Celebrated Criminals and the Folk Process" we will hear more songs about criminals and criminal acts.  Murder, mayhem, theft, all of the gory details! However, unlike the earlier episode, which tended to focus on specific historical figures, this program will be broader and older, and will draw more on English folk songs, where the criminals are usually archetypes rather than specific figures, even when they bear given names.
