  • On the third installment of "Per:mutations: Perspectives on Sex Culture": Leidi Monte interviews sex-doulah Ev’yan Whitney on what it takes to dissect and articulate unseen aspects of our sex culture as a professional. They unpack common narratives which we tell ourselves about sex, examine where these stories about our selves are borne from, and discuss moving forward through discomfort to reach new heights of sexual attunement with our higher selves.  

  • Inessa Anderson's contribution this month features a conversation with Helen McConnell.  Helen is a guide, a teacher, and a mentor, who recently published her first book, “Ten Simple Things You Can do Now to Profoundly Change the World”.  Helen is a practitioner of a healing modality called tapping - described as ‘energy psychology’ and an essential tool for living.   Helen visits prisons to help inmates heal and transform themselves. 
     
  • Konah Hall is a new contributor to the Politics of Living.  Konah hails from Liberia, and she shares her thoughts and experiences about living in a a war torn country and how that shaped her into the person she is today.
     
  • On the She Ra Solution, host Kristin Theil presents the stories of two women who lived more than half a century apart, who are both  finally joing their respective inductries' canons now.  Florence Price, African American classical composer, whose Symphony in E  was debuted in 1933 by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  Price's body of work has been rediscovered, and her music is now being played by orchestras across the country.   And, in February 2018, the company FedEx has hired Airbus Captain and Line Check Airman Tahirah Lamont Brown as its first female African American pilot.
