Three women who are creating community and inclusion in cycling.

This month we're focusing on three women who are creating the worlds they want to live in by creating community and exploring new perspectives. In the first half of the show, we're joined by Laura Everett, a United Church of Christ minister who lives, works and rides a bike in Boston. We'll be hearing from her about her newly published book Holy Spokes- the Search for Urban Spirituality on Two Wheels and hear about what she discovered about where spirituality and two wheels intersect.

In the second half of our show we're joined by Molly Sugar and Gritchelle Fallesgon, the founders of the new Portland cycling group, Friends on Bikes, who's goals include wanting to ensure that women of color have a safe, supportive and fun cycling community that they belong to, and to bring more exposure to women of color who aren’t being heard in the cycling community.
