Twenty-five years ago Apogee Software released Duke Nukem, a sci-fi themed side-scroller (think Mario with a gun) starring a titular lead character that looked not unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger. Its true popularity didn’t come until 1996’s Duke Nukem 3D, a first-person shooter that played like Doom with an attitude. Let’s experience Duke’s saga through the soundtrack of his life from humble PC beginnings to the original Sony PlayStation and beyond.
