An estimated 47 million Americans lack health insurance coverage while another 50 million are underinsured.
A new survey released yesterday in the Annals of Internal Medicine, a leading medical journal, shows a majority of American doctors are for establishing national heath insurance.
59 percent of doctors were for the single payer option for health care while only 31 percent are opposed.
KBOO’s Michael Ianello spoke today with Dr. Ronald Ackermann who co-authored the report.
