Socialism: learning from the past and the present; news from the tenants' union.

Bill Resnick talks with Pete Dolack about his new book, It's Not Over: Learning From the Socialist Experiment. The book analyzes the history of attempts to transcend capitalism, not only the Soviet Union but also the failed German revolution, the Sandinista Revolution and the little-known workers' control experiments during the Prague Spring.

Clayton Morgareidge reviews the Cuban Revolution to see what we can learn from it about socialism in action.

On the local scene, Joe Clement interviews an organizer for Portland Tenants United about their recent work and the encouraging responses they've gotten door-to-door canvassing, and about  their second General Assembly held yesterday at the North Portland Library.

And Frann Michel will offer commentary on the Orlando massacres.
