John Loftus was an evangelical minister. He has several degrees in Christian apologetics. He pastored churches and taught at Christian colleges. Then he left it all. He has written a dozen books with titles such as Why I Became an Atheist: A Former Preacher Rejects Christianity and The Outsider Test for Faith: How to Know Which Religion Is True.
