Direct Action Training: come together to resist sweeps and evictions

Joe Clement and Austin Rose are both organizers with Portland Tenants United, a new tenant union. They discuss the eviction crisis, how PTU has already successfully defended someone against an eviction, and ultimately how Right 2 Survive, Portland Tenants United, and Portland Rising Tide are forming a Rapid Response Network to support people when they or their homes are under attack. It will be on Wednesday March 9th, at the Service Employees International Union building on 64th and Foster (6401 SE Foster) from 4:30-8:30PM. Light snacks and childcare will be provided.
