Coverage of Recent Parliamentary Elections in Haiti

Today Flashpoints presents a special encore edition of our coverage of

recent parliamentary elections held in Haiti on August 9th. We begin with an

interview with Brian Concannon of the Institute for Justice and Democracy

in Haiti giving his views of the legitimacy of the elections. We end our

encore presentation with an interview with Yvon Kernizan, a political

activist who works closely with the Fanmi Lavalas party founded by former

president Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
