A group of registered nurses have organized a Portland branch of RNRN - THE REGISTERED NURSES RESPONSE NETWORK.
RNRN was formed in 2005 in response to the need and devastation left by HURRICANE KATRINA.
Volunteer nurses in New Orleans found government and private assistance mechanisms inadequate and corrupt.
Portland's RNRN organizer Catherine Brunscheon talks about the issues and the new organization with Jenka Soderberg.
