Decriminalizing Homelessness

Host Amy Johnson interviews Portland-area activists Monica Beemer and Ibrahim Mubarak about the Western Regional Avocacy Project's (http://wraphome.org) Homeless Bill of Rights Campagin to protect the rights of all persons to rest. We discuss the fact that persons with prior records are vulnerable to becomeing houseless, the history of vulnerble populations being criminalized and how our society could save money by protecting rather than criminalizing people who do not have a safe place to sleep.
