Palestinian-Americans in the fight for justice in Palestine and US Activism
Follow up on the Cases of Tareq Abu Khdeir and Steven Salaita &
Activist Round up on Solidarity Work Nationally and Locally
Zaha Hassan checks in on some of the stories  she and Ned Rosch have covered on One Land Many Voices in the last few months.

The first of these is the case of Tariq Abu Khdeir, a fifteen year old Palestinian-American boy who was brutally beaten by Israeli occupation forces and imprisoned without charge during his summer trip to visit family in East Jerusalem.  And the other is that of Steven Salaita, a Palestinian American university professor who had his job offer at the University of Illinios Urbana Champaign revoked because of tweets he sent out during the bombing campaign conducted by Israel in July and August of this year.

In the second half hour of the show we will be joined by Peter Miller, outgoing chair of the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation who will be giving us a round-up of the US Campaign’s boycott divestment and sanctions—or ‘BDS’—work and its solidarity actions which Portland has been very active in supporting.
