Reentry Transition Center

Peter Pincetl with Doug Cooper and Felton Howard, Jr., Reentry Transition Center.  The RTC helps people successfully transition back to their communities after incarceration.  Over 150 individuals are released from prison into Multnomah County each year.  Former prisoners are often released with little to no assets, limited ties to the community, and lack awareness of services and programs available to help.  For every $1 invested in the re-entry program, the public safety system saves $14.10.  http://www.mercycorpsnw.org/what-we-do/transition-center/
