We hear highlights from this event on the illegality, immorality and inhumanity of the U.S. Naval Detention Center at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. It was sponsored by Veterans For Peace chapter 72 and held on August 1st at the First Unitarian Church of Portland. Speakers include S. Brian Willson, Viet Nam veteran, activist, author; Steven T. Wax, chief Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon and Andy Worthington, investigative journalist, author, filmmaker, photographer and Guantanamo expert.
