Interview; Baher Azmy, of CCR on Guantanamo Today; Deaths & Indefinite Detention

On Monday, September 10th, word came from Guantanamo that a prisoner had died. Held in Camp 5, a disciplinary unit known for stark conditions, the cause of death is unknown. This is the 4th prisoner to die at the camp under Obama’s Watch. It has become almost easier to get out that way than  to be released through legal efforts.. Even those found not guilty, face a life of indefinite detention. It can be hard to listen to news like this but don’t turn the radio off, tune in to hear Baher Azmy, Legal Director for the Center for Constitutional Rights. He will join host Linda Olson-Osterlund on A Deeper Look. A leader in the fight for justice for the detainees at Guantanamo, he will bring us up to date on what is happening now. The legal losses and victories. Who has been released, who not and what is being done to aid the release of those cleared.
