loss... it encompasses so many things. the older we get, we notice that many of our friends and loved ones are transcending at more frequent rates. this is the sort of loss we tend to focus on. on a larger scale, through governmental policy more and more of us are beginning to acknowledge the loss of basic rights as well. with that, comes the devaluing of life of all forms.
what exactly are we doing to PROTECT AND PROMOTE LIFE? how are we engaging in the communities which already exist? when we lose our loved ones, do we simultaneously recognize what we have gained from their time with us? what are ways we can look at loss positively, despite many forces working against us?
and recognizing that the 21st of september is the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE, how do we strive towards achieving peace every single day, in an environment of loss?
