Listen to some of the most powerful and beautiful Spanish songs composed/performed by women from Central and South America, Spain and United States while learning about the struggles of women in our communities/countries and their achievements. 6:00–7:00 PM | Out Loud hosted by Sasha Buchert Katie Carter from In Other Words will discuss the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, an event coming up entitled "Feminism Forever" on Wednesday March 9th that will host Amy Richards, Julie Serrano, and Andi Zeisler. There will also be a discussion with the organizers of the Portland International Women's Day event. Also, Jessica Amo from the Women's Resource Center at Portland State University will discuss current feminisms, Sexual Assault Awareness Month and campus sexual violence. |
