The recently enacted policy of Fusion Voting may provide new clout to Oregon's six minor parties, and the Oregon Progressive Party could have an impact with a platform that includes support for single payer health care, same sex marriage, cuts to military spending and withdrawal from Aghanistan and Iraq, campaign finance reform, no job outsourcing, no Wall Street bailouts, and no offshore drilling--but the Progressive Party needs 1,000 more signatures before August 1st, just to continue to exist.
