a look at motown records and it's 50 years of existence.
tonight we will look at the label once touted as being the 'sound of young america'- motown records. motown has turned 50 years old, and we will look at the complex histories, the successes, and the struggles. also, we will air some on-the street answers about what motown means to people, as well as get calls from YOU! if you want to e-mail what the label means to you, you can do that here before the evening of the show. there will be, of course, motown music, from its infancy to its present.
