Lauren Kessler is the author of six works of narrative non-fiction, including Dancing with Rose: Finding Life in the Land of Alzheimer's for which she won the Pacific Northwest Book Award. Lauren also teaches  journalism and directs the graduate program in literary nonfiction at the University of Oregon.
