The United States is under siege by gangs of heavily armed goons, identities concealed by masks, assaulting and killing innocent people with impunity. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, America’s Gestapo, whatever you call them, the anonymity with which they’re allowed to operate makes it easier and much more likely for abuses to take place.

Resistance to this federal assault on civil rights and human dignity is mounting throughout the country and legislators in several states are paying attention and stepping up. On this edition of Prison Pipeline we look at efforts in three states: California, Washington, and Oregon.
