On this episode of Genius Box, we're talking with our callers about the Border Patrol shooting of two Portland residents on Thursday, January 8th. Hundreds attended a vigil that night, and city and state leaders have pledged to investigate the shooting.
The pair are in stable condition, and police say they were Venezuelan immigrants, with some connection to the Tren de Aragua gang. Does that at all mean that they should be shot while driving a car outside a hospital? No.
