Winona LaDuke fighting for clean water makes you an activist

"Hope dies last" is a concept popularized by Jessie de la Cruz, a farmworker activist with the United Farm Workers. It refers to the enduring human spirit and capacity for resilience, envisioning creative solutions and persisting even when facing dire circumstances like climate change. It is also the title of Alan Weisman's new book that tells stories of individuals actively working to create positive change rather than passively hoping for solutions.

On this episode of Locus Focus we talk with Alan about some of the amazing people he met around the world, trying to mitigate and undo our past transgressions.
