Phil G here, It's Lundi Gras, the day before Mardi Gras and I will be playing music from and About Louisiana, featuring some great live cuts from a Louisiana Hayride Compilation.
The Louisiana Hayride came out of Shreveport Louisiana from 1948 to 1960. It quite possibly launched the careers of such luminaries as Elvis Presley and Hank Williams (Sr). We'll hear a bunch of great songs, a little MC talking and, also, I'll play some Cajun Mardi Gras music and some other treats. It's gonna be tasty. Yeah you right!
