This program, broadcast on Martin Luther King Day, begins with host dan raphael reading very appropriate poems from Portland poet, writer and jazzman Harold Johnson, who died last November.

Casey Bush is the author of several poetry books and one of creative non-fiction, Casey is part of the Notes & Motes ensemble, with Michael Vlakovitch on trombone, shao Way wu on bass, & Chris Lee on percussion, they’re at the rose city bookpub on Fremont the last Thursday of every month. Casey’s most recent book is Notes and Motes, poems from those performance, but tonight he’s reading a mix of newer and older works.
