JENIN THEATRE IN PALESTINE ATTACKED
A Palestinian theatre was attacked by the Israeli military. The Jenin Freedom Theatre is renowned worldwide for its work for peace and cultural development in the Jenin refugee camp, which is one of the hardest-hit places in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
It was in the news several months ago when one of the theatre’s founders, Israeli peacemaker Juliano Mer Khamis was murdered outside the theatre.
That killing remains unsolved until today. KBOO’s Jenka Soderberg spoke with Jonatan Stanczak, another of the theatre’s co-founders.
