This week on Century of Lies: World Drug Report 2024.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime released its 2024 World Drug Report on June 26. We hear an overview from Dr. Angela Me, Chief of the Research and Trend Analysis Branch at UNODC, and reactions from Ambassador Laura Gil of Colombia and Ambassador Rafael Nageli of Switzerland. Plus, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, Doctor Tlaleng Mofokeng, addressed the UN Human Rights Council on June 24 during HRC’s Fifty-Sixth Session and called for and end to the war on drugs.
