Labor Groups Call for End of War Funding

On Monday, a group of 13 Oregon labor leaders sent a tax day letter to Oregon's Congressional Delegation, calling for local lawmakers to take aggressive actions towards ending the war in Afghanistan.  As budget debates rage over spending cuts to social services, President Obama's budget calls for an additional one hundred and seven billion dollars to fund the war in Afghanistan.  For more on this story, KBOO's Ross Freeman-Levin spoke with Rebecca Griffin from Peace Action West, the group responsible for sending the letter.
