For many people climate change is not an ambiguous threat looming in the distant future, but a reality they are forced to face every day. On Monday night, a member of the Portland Central American Solidarity Committee spoke to a packed room about her expirence on "The Climate Caravan" last November.
An International group of delegates traveled across Mexico visiting twelve communities that have been severely impacted by industrail pollution and climate change. They finished in Cancun for a people's alternative to the United Nation's climate change conference, or COP 16.
