On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea discuss the four statewide ballot measures on the Oregon ballot. Measure 111, to require the state to ensure affordable healthcare access. Measure 112 to remove the Constitutional language allowing slavery as a punishment for a crime. Measure 113 to disqualify state legislators from holding next term's office if they have ten unexcused absences. Measure 114 to require background checks, safety training, fees for a permit to acquire firearms, state police to manage permitting and a firearms database, and criminally prohibit certain magazines.

Then, we ask our listeners in light of the Halloween holiday, what is your irrational fear, and how do you get brave? Althea and Tammy have trouble with moths and grasshoppers respectively.

P.S. We have an event TONIGHT at 5:30 p.m. at Rose City Book Pub! It's a teach-in on Measure 26-228. Please join us!
