Ani and Lyn look back at the first week in 2011, and ask the timeless question: WTF???
2011, a year in review..... Ani and Lyn review the last seven days. We think it's been a weird, and busy, first week of the year. What's taken your attention this week? Our discussion of topics included, but was not limited to:
- A Congressional Rep from Illinois states that God won't allow global warming, so he's against cap and trade legislation. Oh yeah, he's vying to be the chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
- Tired of dead birds and fish in Arkansas? Well, how about Chesapeake Bay, Louisiana, Kentucky, Sweden, Brazil, and more? Why? Some experts say we may never know.... that leaves us deeply unsatisfied, how does it grab you?
- States are targetting unions using the excuse of worsening financial woes. Sure, it's the workers' fault that states are running out of funds.... nothing to do with eroding the tax bases, and bankster looting.... sure.
- Well, we could go on... but....
How can we share information without becoming overwhelmed, especially when the news tends to the overwhelming side to begin with? How are we supposed to integrate information about massive bird and fish die offs, and go about our normal business without demanding much better answers as to why?
