Boardman Power Plant Closure Debate

Representatives from several environmental groups met with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality yesterday regarding the closure of the Boardman coal power plant. The Sierra Club would like to see the plant closed as soon as possible, while Portland General Electric says they are unable to close the plant earlier than 2020.
