Sister Nannette Carter-Jafri discusses where to seek out information about Oregon's approach to CODIV-19.

Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell and Deborah Hall for the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists segment of Labor Radio with our special guest, Sister Nannette Carter-Jafri, a CBTU activist, a member of the Service Employee International Union, Local 503, Homecare Sub-Local 99 and a member of the COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Committee.  Sister Carter-Jafri is one of 27 COVID-19  Vaccine Advisory Committee members and was compelled to volunteer to represent the Black community. Two major concerns she has are the hesitancy of the Black community in taking the vaccine and the distribution cycle of the vaccine to the Black community. The committee will examine these matters and make recommendations to Governor Brown. For more information please go to website:  https://covidvaccine.oregon.gov/
