Imagine getting what you think is spam, and it turns into a $5 million grant to help Native families who are homeless and suffering during the pandemic. That's the story of Paul Lumley, the Executive Director of the Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland. He talks to KBOO's Annette Newell about his own story as well; how he went from being a bullied, homeless, gay teen, to a college graduate, and to lead a center that now helps other Native youth.
